Hannah Skrzynski
Hannah is a Sydney based arts manager, with extensive experience working in the Australia – China cultural field. Hannah has previously spent three and a half years living in Beijing, working on cultural events including the Beijing International Literary Festival and 2008 Beijing Olympics, and then as Senior Culture and Public Affairs Officer at the Australian Embassy Beijing.

From 2009-2010,  Hannah coordinated the Embassy’s cultural program including the Australian Writers Week and Publisher’s Forum, the Australian Film Festival, The Sydney Symphony tour to China, as well as advising on cultural exchanges between Australia and China. She is also a Mandarin speaker. Since returning to Australia in early 2010, Hannah has worked for the Walkley Foundation for Excellence in Journalism, and as General Manager for the Woollahra Festival of Arts and Ideas. 

In early 2010, Hannah founded Creative Asia as a key channel for connecting Chinese and Australian arts organizations to mount events internationally, and building cross cultural collaborations and exchange between the two countries. She collaborates with individual artists, arts organisations and government agencies to produce new cross cultural events across the contemporary arts. Recent projects include the China Australia Literary Forum, Rhinoceros in Love Australian premiere, Australia China Indigenous Eco-Tourism Exchange, and Sound Kapital: Beijing Music Underground Tour.  Hannah is current Director of the Australia-China Young Professionals Initiative , Sydney, and is recipient of one of the inaugural 2012 Sidney Myer Creative Fellowships .
