Beyond Blandness
The Bland Project is a contemporary movement work performed within a video landscape. Directed by Alan Schacher (founder of Gravity Feed) the work takes divergent perspectives on blandness found in Oriental and Occidental cultures, to explore what the bland mask conceals. Video artist Sean Bacon, filmmaker Michelle Mahrer, performers Ari Ehrlich, Ryuichi Fujimura, Phillip Mills, Teik-Kim Pok. Four performances only.
