Children of the Silk Road
Chinese-Australian actor Guang Li features in the movie Children of the Silk Road, starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Radha Mitchell, Chow Yun Fat, Michelle Yeoh and David Wenham. Set against war-torn China in the 1930s the film is inspired by the true story of English journalist George Hogg who led 60 orphaned children across hundreds of miles of treacherous terrain ahead of advancing Japanese troops. Opens nationally July 3.
