A four-part television drama series, Better Man, to be directed by Khoa Do is currently seeing Vietnamese actors for main and supporting roles.  Produced by FreemantleMedia, the series will air on SBS in 2013.  The series revolves around the story of the last Australian to have been executed overseas, Van Tuong Nguyen.  Auditions are currently being held in Sydney and Melbourne.  Previous acting experience is not necessary butl will be an advantage.  See below for more information.

 

BETTER MAN

MAIN ROLES:  

VAN (Vietnamese, male, early 20’s)
A charming, popular older twin brother who will do anything for his family.   

KIM (Vietnamese, female, 40 – 55 years old)
A hardworking Vietnamese single mother who works long hours to provide for her children.    

KHOA (Vietnamese, male, early 20's)
A rebellious, headstrong younger twin brother.    

SUPPORTING ROLES:  

VAN, as a teenage boy (Vietnamese, male, 14 – 16 years old)  

VAN, as a child (Vietnamese, male, 9 – 11 years old)  

KHOA, as a child (Vietnamese, male, 9 – 11 years old)
