The Casting Hothouse
Equity's unique intensive audition/casting workshop to
maximise skills and employment potential in the US and Australia took place in
Melbourne 20-22 Nov. Led by Matt Skrobalak, vice president of talent and
casting at CBS, US casting
director, Margery Simkin (Avatar, Marley and Me) plus Australia's Christine
King and Tom McSweeney. Open to financial Equity members, the workshops were
FREE but subject to a lottery.
