Missing Water Wins Award
Congratulations to director Khoa Doa and the talented cast and crew of feature film Missing Water which won the Community Relations Commission Award at the 2009 Sydney Film Festival. This is the third feature from the award-winning director of The Finished People and Footy Legends. Missing Water is a powerful and imaginative telling of the story of the Vietnamese refugees who made the perilous voyage to Australia in the 1970s. Its cast comprises non-professional actors, many of whom were refugees or are their descendents.
