TOKYO synopsis -
A headstrong, aspiring actress (Nadia) arrives in Tokyo to meet her
boyfriend only to find he has deserted her. She is alone and isolated.
While practicing lines to pass the time, she encounters strange,
eccentric characters. Seeing the stars in her eyes, they promise her a
window to success that no actor could refuse. Oblivious to their true
profession, she is lured into a seedy world of pornography. It is here that
the film's reality and narrative begin to blur.
Characters -
NADIA - already cast
AIKO (35-40) Eccentric looking woman. A Producer and talent scout for
an adult film production company. Determined to manipulate Nadia's dreams of success.
KAZUO (25-35) Bulky, menacing looking man. Aiko's minder. Non-speaking role.
MANA (20-25) Attractive young actress who meets Nadia on set.
HIDEO (25-30) Artistic film director. An aggressive and agitated man.
