Tony Ayres wins ADG Award

Congratulations to director Tony Ayres who has won a 2009 Australian Directors Guild Award for best direction of a telemovie for Saved.  Starring Claudia Karvan the telemovie screened on SBS television earlier this year. The awards took place in Sydney on 10th September.

Features a screening of Journey from the Fall (Vuot Song), directed by Oscar nominee Ham Tran (The Anniversary) and starring Long Nguyen, Diem Lien and Kieu Chinh (Joy Luck Club).  Digital storytelling projects produced by young Vietnamese living in Western Sydney were also  screened followed by a discussion about recent films, The Rebel, Passport to Love and Footy Legends. Devil's 6 Commandments

Felino Dolloso's busy year continues with a lead role in the feature film The Devil's 6 Commandments, currently in post production.  The action thriller is due for release in the next year.  Dolloso also guests on All Saints MRU in early September.  Then follows stage roles in Measure at the New Theatre, Sydney and Strange Attractor at the Griffin and Riverside Theatres.
