The ABC TV series My Place is based on the award winning children's book of the same name. Casting was held in Sydney for two 11-12yr old Vietnamese Girls and one 11-12yr old Arab boy to play lead roles in different episodes.

Annette Shun Wah In Conversation with Graeme Blundell at the Sydney Writers' Festival on 21 May.  Blundell's memoir, The Naked Truth: A Life In Parts, reads like a history of Australian independent theatre, TV and film. As Alvin Purple he was our first movie sex symbol.  Also at the Festival, Annette launched the fashion/fetish edition of Asian-Australian arts and culture magazine Peril.
